I see, hear, think about, and feel you everyday.

Your presence is always dreadful,

like a lightning bolt

slammed down by Thor’s

mighty hammer. 5

It shakes me down,

screaming at me,

stabbing me with reminders of the past.

It pushes me down onto the drenched grass

staring into my eyes, 10

making me reflect—

when will the bolts of my dejection end?
