To become illuminated like

A star on my sleeve.

We walk through time. So hated

yet we stay strong — why?

Why do groups of people get targeted? It goes all the way back to before any biblical text was written down. Humans are the first to snap and hate all that comes near. It makes no sense. In this day and age why can't we just agree to disagree. Why can't we all just be right in our own ways? Why can’t people stop being stuck in their own opinions and see a bigger picture?

Why is killing the solution? The simple answer is that it's not “the solution,”it's a simple tactic to a larger issue that will stop it for the time being. But to “stop” is only to scare. It doesn't solve the issue at all.

This phenomenon goes beyond money, politics, or even religion. It’s strictly due to the human instinct that is programmed for survival of the fittest. Just because a person can have this instinct does not mean its moral in any way, shape, or form. We have the power to see the right from wrong and so many still don’t. It’s not about taking a side, it's about educating yourself enough to know that there is right and a wrong. To realize there is a side other than our own. Why don’t we then? There is no simple answer.
