Sana, sana, colita de rana, si, no sana hoy, sanará mañana(Heal, Heal, frog’s tail, if you, don’t heal today, it will heal tomorrow)

The scratches in the bleeding knee after falling from the bike.

New shoes that gave blisters, slowly shearing skin.

Pain dwindled for days.

The opposite of light slowly becoming a monster.

A mother’s wound slowly imparting of the bleeding.

Stains becoming ours to deal with.

Questions of the tomorrow becoming part of today—

When is the next thing to do?

Are dreams desperate or purposeful?

The kids didn’t believe in the Psalms.

The comfort of the frog healing

but slowly, silence became the new tail.
