Forgotten and for granted,

dormant on your bed,

when night falls,

your head will cast my shape.

Feathering the sheet,

carved around your body,

this bedroom is dim and warm.

Sleep still for a moment,

bless me with bliss,

and then I can hold you,

here in these arms.
