Nebula, Your Dying Light

What once was a shining bright star,

now a collective grouping of gas and dust.

You shined once,

and you shine again igniting a supernova glow.

Then you leave something so beautiful and impactful

in the infinite dark sky.

You glimmer your beauty in different ways,

creating a unique glistening sparkle,

remarking the world for eternity.

Fallen star you are, out of sight.

Forgotten— fading away forever.

We forget the marvels of outer space.

But when we pause, we stand in a trance of awe.

We watch the beauty

as it's fading away.

There but never in our grace.
