I lived to blanket you,

to hold you tight after a long, hard

day knowing that was my job-

that is all I could ever

be. The savior from when you

fell asleep, to when you woke up

the next morning. I was there waiting

for your return each day, spread out

waiting to heal, protect, and give you

comfort.
