Cosmos

Life is best lived in the sun.
Or as a sun.
A star in a vast oblivion.
My life is like this.
I live as a universe of stars,
my peers, shining like me
and basking in light.
And like stars, we would not exist without previous life.
We rely on ancestors who perished before us,
leaving only seeds to start shining again when seasons change.
We are together an entire cyclical universe of life.
Wild and free we roam
coloring galaxies of unkept open fields and road medians-
settling in well kept gardens and abandoned flower pots.
Among fertilizer and weeds we thrive together, shining to create our own cosmos.
