Control

Like a weatherman telling the world how the hurricane will act.  

Or a stop sign demanding cars to stop and go.

But that is not how life works—it can not be controlled.

The hurricane will still destroy homes. 

The cars will still speed through the streets.

I long to be an empty planner on the shelf—not controlling the day.
