Morning Glory

The first thing I see when I open my eyes, Is the loving ray of ethereal sunshine. She leaves warm kisses that slowly make their way across my skin. One by one, my limbs are illuminated by her unearthly glow. Each beam of light represents love finding its way to my heart. My little fingertips trace along the path of projection that found itself on my body. I’m a map of hidden treasures, Just waiting for the Sun to explore. She calls for me to arise and start my morning, But I stay, cemented to my pillowcase. Maybe I should enjoy my last few minutes basking in the morning glory, But I go. Besides, I want breakfast.
