One Day

I’ll be able to feel like I am enough.
I won’t compare myself to the other girls around me.
I’ll value my flaws instead of tearing myself
down with the punishing voices in my head.
I won’t be blinded by my own thoughts of perfection.
I’ll look through the mirror to see what’s on the inside.
Until then, I'll wipe my tears, fake a smile,
but one day, I'll learn.
