Buzz. I look down. My phone lit up. I receive a message from my mom. I try to read it without being disrespectful to the guest speaker in my Health class. It says I am coming to pick you up. I do not remember my mom telling me I was leaving early today. Buzz. I get another message. Something bad happened to your brother. My heart is racing. While I stare at the black screen, I hear the police officer in the front of the room talking about safe driving. Make sure you are always wearing your seatbelt in the car.
