He never enjoyed fun very much. While the other kids were running around on the playground, he preferred hurting small animals and sitting in darkness. After high school, he went west, but returned a year later after failing to find opportunities. On occasion, he enjoyed a nice latte from the shop down the street, knowing that he walked on the emptiest side of the road. He never enjoyed companionship, but who could say no to the kids that entered the church under which he resided? “This is quite nice,” he thought as he slept, Georgie bound on the table next to him.
