Love is a Blanket

Placed over you,
When you fall asleep on the couch,
Pink and fuzzy.
Wrapped around you,
When the sun goes down,
And the wind picks up.
Carried with you as a child,
And left in your bed as an adult,
Black and heavy.
It becomes bigger and heavier as you grow older,
It keeps you warm,
In the cold, dark night.
