Sticks and Stones and Fists

He may hit me with sticks and stones and fists But I can’t bring myself to blame She may hurt me with insults, disrespects, and ignorance

But I can’t bring myself to blame

They may barter me with words and punches

But at the end of the day, I can not blame Because our homes are the not the same And their lives a different game,

If I were them I’d be the same, So for this I can and will not blame.
